He was going abroad, so he is living in our kennel, he has received his vaccinations appropriate for his age. And now he is really waiting for the RIGHT one. G litter is finally HERE!!!! :D
We have some good news to share with you. On March 18th, litter G from Gadsden x Peppa was born. We had an adventurous trip all the way to the American import red merle gentleman in Poland. It was so adventurous that we got Peppa's results on Wednesday evening and were on the road by Thursday morning. Thank you to our Families for your help!
Gadsden is a bare-breasted troubadour, a true gentleman. Thank you Monika, for letting us use Gadsden. On March 18th, 6 wonderful puppies were born:
- 2 males: 1 red merle, 1 red tricolor
- 4 females: 1 red merle, 3 red tricolor
As usual, we waited a while to share the news with you. We will be back with the puppies soon. In the meantime, here is a nice advert, thanks to Kitty Susa!

This statement was created in response to the horrific events of the past few days, thanks to the collaboration of ethical Hungarian Australian Shepherd and Mini American Shepherd breeders. While efforts are underway to put an end to the unscrupulous and profit-driven breeding practices that have resulted in the deaths and ruin of hundreds of dogs, as well as the dismantling of breeding facilities, the end is not yet in sight. As breeders, we feel the need to take action. None of us have ever encountered a situation like this before, so we are working together to find the best solutions.
Given that numerous posts, some with little factual basis, have appeared on both Hungarian and international Facebook pages about this matter, we find it necessary to emphasize: while this atrocity took place in Hungary, according to current information, the perpetrators are not Hungarian! This has nothing to do with cheap Hungarian-bred dogs, Hungarian papers, or Hungarian microchips. Instead, it is the rampage of an Austrian woman banned from Austria, allegedly assisted by an Austrian veterinarian.
We, as experts who have been working with these breeds for years and have extensive knowledge about the nature, training, needs, care, and grooming of Australian Shepherds and Minis, offer our support to the affected animal welfare organizations, shelters, and temporary or permanent adopters. We encourage them to reach out to us with any questions, and we will assist to the best of our ability. However, we strongly caution those unfamiliar with the breed against adopting dogs simply because they are cheap or free. These dogs are highly traumatized, aggressive, fearful, and prone to biting, and their rehabilitation can take years or even a lifetime. Taking them in requires expertise. Even raising a well-adjusted Australian Shepherd or Mini from a stable background is no easy task. It is crucial for everyone involved to understand this.
It is also very important to prevent the spread of misinformation about these breeds and to ensure that neither the breeds nor Hungarian breeders are unfairly portrayed in a negative light. Both breeds are highly intelligent, quick learners, and very sensitive, soulful dogs that cannot be raised with violence. They are truly wonderful breeds. We can only hope that the rescued dogs’ rehabilitation will be successful. To support their rehabilitation and monitor the dogs adopted out, we have contacted the relevant authorities, breed clubs, the MEOESZ (Hungarian Kennel Club), and politicians. The most important thing is to ensure these dogs never end up in such circumstances again, which requires their spaying and neutering—a process that will also need veterinary collaboration.
For now, we stand shocked by the events and have been brainstorming solutions together for days. We hope this nightmare will eventually end. It must also be noted that such breeding practices can only exist and grow to this extent because of DEMAND. All of us have been approached by potential buyers who care about nothing but the price. They don’t care where the puppy comes from or the conditions its parents live in; all that matters is that it’s cheap. And they always find such places. This is one of the biggest problems.
But now, we must move forward and focus on preserving the good reputation of our breeds and the integrity of our breeding activities, which we conduct with passion and not for profit—devoting our resources, energy, and time 24/7 to this work.

World Dog Show Zagreb
We had a wonderful day at the World Dog Show in Zagreb. We have not exhibited at such a prestigious exhibition for a long time. So now we have named 3 dogs.
It was a very emotional day for us, because we were happy to welcome Betty, our female kennel founder, in the veteran class. We entered our two dogs, Wendy and Peppa, in the open class. Of course, we didn't want it that way, but people plan and the lack of a champion certificate ends. When the invitation was sent, we didn't have time to send the CH certificate of Wendy (who has been the Champion of Hungary since 2021), we had the opportunity to ask for it. So they transferred him to an open class, where he could compete with Peppa. :)
We couldn't be happier with the results:
"Wendy" HCH Born To Minimarks Czech Jakobín won the open class and earned the title of World Winner!!
"Peppa" JCH HCH Minimark's Best Kept Secret 2nd place, Res CAC title in open class after Wendy!! If Wendy had started in the Winner class, then Peppa would have won her class, and two of our dogs could have competed for the title of World Winner, so it's a very uplifting feeling to know that, even though the machine didn't throw that right now ;)
"Betty" HCH RoCH Peaceful Acres Secret In The Garden, guided by Mónika Czinder, won the World Veteran title and the Most Beautiful Veteran title as well.

We would like to present our long-planned and much-anticipated litter, whose parents are our own bred dog from litter C, Archie, Minimark's Catch The Wind and our Czech import bitch Wendy, Born to Minimark Czech Jakobín.
The puppies - 1 black tri male, 2 blue merle females, 1 blue merle male - were born on 04.01.2023, and since then they have grown from stuffed socks into beautiful puppies. The puppies are energetic from the first moment, Wendy is an amazing caring mother.
Nowadays, discovery is the main role: the puppies get to know toys, different sounds, and play eachother all day.
The puppies - 1 black tri male, 2 blue merle females, 1 blue merle male - were born on 04.01.2023, and since then they have grown from stuffed socks into beautiful puppies. The puppies are energetic from the first moment, Wendy is an amazing caring mother.
Nowadays, discovery is the main role: the puppies get to know toys, different sounds, and play eachother all day.

XII. Tanmark aussie & Minimark mini american shepherd kennel meeting
First meeting where there were more mini americans than aussies.
When we started organizing it, we would not have thought that there would be so much interest in it.
We enjoyed the hospitality of Szarvas Tanya again :), the dogs and Owners could learn herding under the hands of Petra Szarvas.
There were first ballers, who were able to enjoy herding for the first time and were almost professionals. It was amazing to see the pioneering instinct as part of the learning process when the timid puppies showed work like adults during the training.
Thank you, dear Owners for coming, attending our meeting, it is worth organizing for those happy moments. Meet you there next year!

XI. Tanmark aussie & Minimark mini american shepherd kennel meeting
What connects more than 60 people to meet in one place and spend a day together?! We help you: our dogs, companions, family members; love of our breeds. This brought to life the XI. Tanmark aussie (and now) Minimark mini american shepherd kennel meeting.
When we started organizing it, we would not have thought that there would be so much interest in it.
But what was this day about?! More than 60 people, nearly 30 dogs spent their Sunday together in happiness, peace, herding. We enjoyed the hospitality of Szarvas Tanya, the dogs and Owners could learn herding under the hands of Petra Szarvas.
There were first ballers who were able to enjoy herding for the first time and were almost professionals. It was amazing to see the pioneering instinct as part of the learning process when the timid puppies showed work like adults during the training.
In the afternoon, Cecília Czibere, the head of the Danube Dog Center Dog School, an instructor and not incidentally a proud owner of 2 aussies and a mini american, gave a question-and-answer lecture. We think questions have been answered, Cili gave great advice on problems.

When we started organizing it, we would not have thought that there would be so much interest in it.
But what was this day about?! More than 60 people, nearly 30 dogs spent their Sunday together in happiness, peace, herding. We enjoyed the hospitality of Szarvas Tanya, the dogs and Owners could learn herding under the hands of Petra Szarvas.
There were first ballers who were able to enjoy herding for the first time and were almost professionals. It was amazing to see the pioneering instinct as part of the learning process when the timid puppies showed work like adults during the training.
In the afternoon, Cecília Czibere, the head of the Danube Dog Center Dog School, an instructor and not incidentally a proud owner of 2 aussies and a mini american, gave a question-and-answer lecture. We think questions have been answered, Cili gave great advice on problems.
Thank you, dear Owners for coming, attending our meeting, it is worth organizing for those happy moments. Meet you there next year!

After a looong break due to COVID we had the first show, exactly a club show, finally, what our club, the AAPKK organised.
There were some nice debuts in the minor puppy class showed two puppies from the Colin x Hope litter. They did nice job and they pocketed some praise. Wendy, who didn’t entered any shows since 2019 went to the BOS title.

Some pictures from the annual Tanmark aussie & Minimark MAS meeting. We are really proud as one of our MAS puppy from the B litter, Taj Mahal, can come to try the herding sport. Lot of aussies were there and two MASs. This was Taj's first and Colin's 2nd meeting with sheep. We followed Petra's, the trainer, instructions: Colin achieved a part of the herding working test, we did a great slalome and Tai showed his individual herding style. Wait for the next time!!!! :)

Colin is the most friendly and easy going dog you can ever meet. We love him to the moon and back and there are no words how happy we are to have him in our live.

Every puppy went to their (hopefully) forever Homes. Some of them stay in Hungary, and spend their life with lovely families, two of them tries to be sport dog, check them in dog dancing, herding, puller sports and as a member of a dog school family will take part in the theraphy of kids. Hope we will meet them soon :)
Those who travel to abroad wishing healthy life to Höri who will be the first common dog of a nice couple, and Pablo, who will be a great company in the travelling between Austria and Hungary :)
Of course we wish all the best those pups, who will be entered in the dog show world: Iggy; Cash, Baily.

After a rainy club show day we could't wait better places for our lovely Hope!! She was a little bit tired during the breed judgement, but she got a nice judgement from dr Gábor Hargitai (HU). She woke up for the Best In Show program, in the Junior BIS she went 3rd place under Mr Boris Cavillac. It was a special pleasure, because Mr Cavillac already judged some mini american sheperds in France. Thanks for the great organisation to our club!!!

We couldn't imagine better start of Hope's junior class-age. She enjoys our attention and loves her box in the tent, this was her comfortable and safe place. :)
She moved perfectly and stood stably on the table during her judgement like an adult does. We think she is on the right tack learning how a star should behave in the ring. ;)
